1955 Gilbarco 1006 "Sales-Maker" - Sinclair Gas Pump

I bought this gas pump in Lewiston NY to restore and display in the shop. It had it's share of mice living in it over the years so it took some time to dismantle and clean everything from top to bottom. It had been painted several times over the years so once the tins were  sandblasted my wife and I decided to make this gem a Sinclair Dino gas pump. The frame was painted with urethane single stage white paint, the tins are powder coated green. The porcelain faces are all original and just needed a little touching up. It was completely rewired with all new fixtures and the reproduction globe was added. The faces are reverse decorated polycarbonate (Lexan) and the rubber door seals and window rubber are all new as well. Here are some pictures of the transformation.
